We are delighted that you have decided to work as a Pretty Brown Girl (PBG) Facilitator during the 2024-2025 school year! Our goal is to provide a meaningful experience for you and all of the girls we interact with. In an effort to ensure professionalism and operational excellence, we ask that you review, implement, and adhere to the following guidelines:

Code of Conduct
During all sessions, programming, and events, Facilitators shall abide by and enforce the Code of Conduct:

-To protect PBG Staff and Facilitators, no adult should be left alone with a girl where they cannot be observed by others.

-No type of bullying or abuse (verbal, physical, mental, or online) will be tolerated by Facilitators.

-Facilitators should respond to each girl with respect and consideration. All PBG participants should be treated equally, regardless of sex, gender, sexuality, race, religion, culture, socioeconomic status, or ability.

-Any kind of harassment or inappropriate behavior towards PBG participants, parents, staff/administration, or volunteers is prohibited.

-Facilitators should portray a positive role model for youth by maintaining an attitude of loyalty, patience, courtesy, and tact.

-Facilitators should be dressed in business casual attire for all sessions. A PBG T-shirt will be provided and can be included as appropriate attire. We request that you refrain from wearing any athleisure attire, such as leggings, sweatpants, hoodies, gym shoes, etc.

-Facilitators must refrain from sharing personal contact information (including email, phone number, and any social media handles) with PBG participants and school staff.

-In the event of an incident during a session or concerns with any of the girls, Facilitators must complete our Pretty Brown Girl Incident Report Form so PBG can notify the school and adhere to the protocols. An electronic copy of the form will be provided via email.

I will adhere to Pretty Brown Girl’s Code of Conduct.
