Since 2010, Pretty Brown Girl has been committed to helping Black and Brown girls pursue and realize their dreams and goals through leadership and empowerment training.

Our pledge to ensure young women achieve their dreams has expanded through the Patricia Harris Johnson Leadership Scholarship for graduating high school seniors. The scholarship was named in honor of the late Mrs. Patricia Harris-Johnson, the mother of Pretty Brown Girl Founder Sheri Crawley. She was a graduate of Bennett College, a Historically Black College and University.

Patricia Harris-Johnson was a phenomenal Educator, Entrepreneur, Author, Motivational Speaker, and Community Leader who inspired and embodied the Pretty Brown Girl mission. Her legacy of educational excellence will continue to live on through the Patricia Harris-Johnson Leadership Scholarship.

The Pretty Brown Girl Foundation has provided over 150 girls with scholarships to attend HBCUs, traditional colleges and universities! We are committed to supporting Black girls who demonstrate tenacity and ambition by reducing the financial burden as they embark on their college journey.
